The Betts Centre organises a variety of events during term time. These range from hands-on workshops and occasional masterclasses to speaker events and informal gatherings. Together, these events provide a forum for Oxford's uniquely-large community of over eighty organists to meet, discuss and socialise.
The Betts Centre's John Wellingham Organ Studies Library at Jesus College provides organ scholars with scholarly editions of organ music dating from the sixteenth to the twentieth century.
With currently nine (!) weekly organ recital series during term time, there is never a shortage of organ music in Oxford.
At least once a year, the Betts Centre offers organ scholars the opportunity to explore celebrated pipe organs across Britain and the European continent.
